Structure

 

The State Prosecutor's General Office is a supreme, independent judicial authority headed by the General State Commissioner, who is a judicial officer and is selected, in accordance with article 90 of the Constitution, for a four-year term by the Council of Ministers.

The judicial staff of the State Prosecutor's General Office also consists of:

  • the Deputy State Prosecutor General
  • 5 Vice Prosecutors General (four serving)
  • 4 Appeal Judges (two serving)
  • 8 Junior Judges

The above are judicial officers and come from the National School of Judges.

The State Prosecutor's General Office is administratively supported by judicial officers of the Court of Audit, who hold the following organizational positions:

  • 1 Commissioner position
  • 3 Head of Department positions
  • 14 positions of judicial officers of Category PE
  • 6 positions of judicial officers of Category DE
  • 1 HR Category position
