Nikolaos Theoxaris

He was born in 1793. He was initially appointed Vice-President of the Hellenic Court of Audit with B.D. of 8/11/1849 (Government Gazette A΄42). Subsequently, he was appointed State Prosecutor General at the Hellenic Court of Audit from January 12, 1855 (B.D. 31/1/1855, Official Gazette A΄1) until 1863. He also served as Minister of Finance in the Government of Alexandros Mavrokordatos from 12/10/1833 to 31/5/1834, in the Government of Ioannis Kolettis from 31/5/1834 to 20/5/1835 and in the Government of Ludov. Armansberg from 20/5/1835 to 28/1/1836, Minister of the Interior in the Government under King Otto and Deputy Prime Minister Georgios Kountouriotis from 30/12/1839 to 24/1/1841 and Minister of Education in the same Government from 30/12/1840 to 24/1/1841, Minister of Justice in the Government Gennaiou (Ioanni) Kolokotronis from 26/5/1862 to 11/10/1862 and Minister of Foreign Affairs in the same Government from 26/5/1862 to 11/6/1862. He died on 8/4/1867.
