Ioannis Zografos

He was born in the year 1844 in Kalavryta, originally from Patras where he did his high school studies. He then went to Germany, to the University of Heidelberg, where he studied law. He returned to Patras where he practiced the legal profession, which he subsequently abandoned. He came to Athens where he connected with Th. Diligiannis to whom he served as legal advisor. He then worked as an economist and was a professor at the University of Athens. Appointed Gen. Secretary to the Ministry of Finance. He also served a) Member of Parliament for Achaioilis in the 12th Parliament (1890-1892) and a candidate in the same electoral district in the 1902 elections without being elected and b) Vice-President of the Court of Auditors and State Prosecutor General at the Hellenic Court of audit from 4/10/1896 to in July 1902, when he was fired. He died on 30/11/1927.
